We’ve pre-built the exact policies that HONK requires to become a partner. Select your HONK Insurance Requirement, and answer a few questions about your business to create your Bunker account (this takes about 3 minutes).Â
Step Two
Bunker’s team of licensed advisors will work with you to gather the information you’ll need to get a quote from our network of insurance carrier partners. Look out for an email within the next few hours!
Step Three
We’ll submit your application to each of our carrier partners, and provide you with the best possible quote.Â
Setting Yourself Up for Success:
Once you’ve purchased your policy, you’ll never have to worry about the tedious application process again!Â
- You can share your Live Certificate of Insurance right from your Bunker account whenever you get a new contract (and even add new certificate holders).
- If you need to add coverage, we’ll already have all of your information in the system – just reach out and let us know what you need!
- When renewal time comes around, we’ll make sure you’re still getting the best price. Because all of your information is saved in your Bunker account, all you’ll have to do is let us know if anything has changed.
Understanding Your HONK Insurance Requirements
As a HONK Service Provider, the insurance requirements in your contract will vary based on the work you’re doing.
All Providers:
General Liability: $300K
General Liability Insurance will cover third party injury and property damage up to $300,000.
Automobile Liability: $300K
Your Commercial Auto policy will cover up to $300,000 in damages that take place while you’re driving as part of your job. If you’re driving vehicles that you don’t own personally, you may need Hired and Non-Owned Auto.
Certificate Holder: Optional
Listing HONK as a certificate holder allows them to access information and updates on your insurance policies, like early cancellation notices. You should list the following on your certificate of insurance:

If You’re Towing, Add:
On-Hook: $50K
On-Hook covers up to $50,000 in damages that take place while you’re towing a vehicle. If you aren’t towing, you won’t need to purchase this coverage.

Garage Keepers: $50K
Garage Keepers covers damages that take place while you’re storing a customer’s vehicle on your premises. If you aren’t storing any vehicles, you don’t need to purchase this coverage.
